Commented Issue: Cannot sign-in [12872]

Trying the compiled version or the supplied precompiled binary: the program cannot sign-in.
WLLogOnException exception is thrown, the ErrorMessage of the exception is empty (so no error message is displayed in the alert box), the base exception has this message: "Exception of type 'Microsoft.WindowsLive.Id.Client.WLLogOnException' was thrown.". I can see ErrorCode 0x80004001 and ErrorType -1. Is that error code the NS_ERROR_NOT_IMPLEMENTED?

In the GetSource() function, just after you create the WebRequest object: System.Net.WebRequest req = System.Net.WebRequest.Create(link);
The below code will ensure that the current system Proxy is used. You may want to extend this for custom proxy.

WebProxy myProxy = new WebProxy(WebRequest.DefaultWebProxy.GetProxy(new Uri("http://www.bing.com/")));
myProxy.Credentials = CredentialCache.DefaultCredentials;
myProxy.UseDefaultCredentials = true;
req.Proxy = myProxy;

The problem stems from this section of code in frmMain.cs:

Which means, it's the WLID Client SDK that's not x64 compatible, which is
what I suspected. So there's actually nothing I can do.

I discovered that not all the links end in ?download. Files of extension .exe and .dll for example. This was causing a problem when trying to get the link based on where this appeared.

CREATED ISSUE: Clicking Sign out whilst updating doesn't stop the update

If the tree view is being populated and you click on the sign out button, it doesn't stop the update, but still signs you out, leaving the tree view in tact.
